Syracuse (Architectural Fragment) by Jan Ciągliński (1910) captures the golden architecture of Sicily in warm Mediterranean light. Rather than painting the city as a postcard view, Ciągliński focused on a single architectural fragment - a sunlit corner that feels both ancient and alive. He belonged to the early wave of Polish Symbolists who traveled through Europe chasing color and atmosphere, and this work shows that sensibility in full force: painterly brushwork, shifting light, and a sense that history itself is glowing through the walls.

The reproduction meets the requirements of FineArt prints. All frames and canvases are custom made to order. The entire production process takes place in my art studio in Norway. Each print is created on archival canvas using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color.
